Supporting Education. Embracing Differences. Strengthening Families

Every child deserves the opportunity to learn, thrive, and be truly understood. If your child learns or behaves differently, navigating the IEP process can feel overwhelming—but meaningful collaboration with your child’s school is possible.

As a specialist in brain-based differences and a non-attorney special education advocate, I work alongside you and your child’s IEP team to help create a plan that’s both individualized and effective. My approach centers on understanding how your child’s brain works—and using that knowledge to guide decisions about supports, services, and goals.

With the right tools, language, and collaboration, you can feel confident and prepared at the IEP table. Together, we’ll ensure your child’s unique needs are not only recognized but fully supported.

My Approach
For students with brain-based differences, effective learning begins with understanding how the brain works—and creating an environment where they feel safe, supported, and understood.

I bring a compassionate, science-informed approach to the IEP process that’s grounded in how your child’s brain functions. By focusing on the connection between brain development, behavior, and learning, we can help your child’s IEP team create a plan that truly fits their unique needs.

Whether you need help reviewing evaluations, preparing for an IEP meeting, or ongoing support throughout the process, I offer flexible services tailored to your family’s goals.
Let’s connect and explore how we can work together to support your child’s growth, learning, and success in school.
Services
The special education process can feel overwhelming, especially when your child is facing behavioral challenges at home or in the classroom. As a parent who’s walked this path myself, I understand how emotional and confusing it can be.
That’s why I offer more than just professional guidance—I bring personal experience and empathy to every conversation. My approach combines neuroscience-backed strategies with compassionate collaboration to help families and school teams work together effectively.
In addition to IEP support, I provide coaching and training for both parents and educators, focusing on practical, brain-based tools to better understand and address challenging behaviors. Together, we can create a more supportive and successful learning environment for your child.
